The Aneeter road is now officially the new home of Moortown St. Malachy’s GAC.  After releasing our ambitious development plans in 2008 we have made incredible progress to date and relocated from Tobin Park to Aneeter road with 3 pitches and mobile based changing facilities in place and we have sold our old pavilion at Tobin park to the youth club.

 

We are proud to have two brand new state of the art sand carpet pitches constructed by the leading firms in pitch construction and management, Clive Richardson Ltd and Tony Patterson Sports Grounds.   Our new main field and floodlit training field will both be opened and in use for the 2015 season.  In addition to the two new pitches, we also have a floodlit training field which has been in use for the past 3 years and has been a great addition to the clubs facilities. 

 

The next stage in the development will be the largest and most complex, the construction of a new community centre/pavilion.  We are currently exploring grant and funding opportunities to help us fund the construction.  We will be sending out a detailed update to all club members in the coming weeks to inform them of the what has been happening since we issued our last update.
